Shongololo makes children’s toys and accessories, which are uniquely South African in their feel and character. We use South African fabrics and motifs to create fun and lovable soft toys as well as wooden toys and accessories for kids from all over the world. Shongololo operates from Muizenberg in Cape Town and was founded with a vision to produce hand-made high-quality products that are inspired by South Africa, its people, its animals, and its culture. Shongololo also sells a beautiful Shweshwe range of African animal soft toys – their popularity has, in turn, inspired a collection of wooden toys and room decorations, as well as a wide variety of children’s accessories such as bibs and aprons. These items make lovely gifts, or can just be a playful reminder of an enjoyable visit to Cape Town.
