Since 2005, AVOOVA has specialised in the design and production of decorative and interior pieces. Finished with a luxurious veneer of ostrich eggshell. They are the world’s leading specialists in the use of this exquisite and sustainable material that is gathered up as hatched shells from the ostrich breeders within the Karoo region. They work hard to support our local community and are currently a significant employer within the Prince Albert community. From tables, mirrors, and picture frames to bowls, candles and backgammon boards, they aim to marry art and functionality in classic and contemporary designs. Avoova works with interior designers on creations for hotels, lodges and mega yachts but also creates an extensive range of unusual and refined pieces for sale through their store at the Alfred Gallery Mall.
