WALL is a fine art gallery which is situated on the second floor on the African Trading Port in the Port Captain’s building in the V&A Waterfront. On show are selected fine examples of artworks by some of South Africa’s most celebrated painters and sculptors, as well as superior works by artists whose talents are yet to be recognised by the contemporary art market. The works presented by WALL have been carefully chosen for their aesthetic attributes and their possible historical significance, and they are bound to remain engaging to the viewer and the collector for a long time. The works all reflect a spirit of innovation at the time of being created. A selection of work by the following artists adorn the walls: David Atkinson, Douglas Portway, Sydney Kumalo, Cecily Sash, Robert Hodgins, Cecil Skotnes, Willem Boshoff, Erik Laubscher, Christo Coetzee, Lucky Sibiya, Edoardo Villa, Zoltan Borbereki, Kenneth Bakker and Georgina Ormiston.
