Growbag Upcycled turns waste materials, such as old advertising banners/billboards and used parachutes, kites, sails, tarpaulin, seatbelt webbing and bicycle tyre tubing into one of a kind functional goods.
We’ve got two ranges:
Planter bags made out of billboard material creating new life by growing plants, vegetables, herbs or flowers! Once the advertising campaign is over we collect the billboards, cut them into the various shapes and create an unique product range that tells a story and serves as reminder that living sustainably is a necessity in this day and age. Each planting container bag is a one of a kind in colour and pattern; our range is lightweight, space-saving, highly durable and eco-friendly.
This range of upcycled planter bags has been created to serve two purposes: To empower people to be more conscious about waste and to live sustainably by growing their own food. Our planter bag range can fit any living space and can be used indoors as well as indoors! With this project we support underprivileged gardening communities by donating planters to urban gardeners around Cape Town.

Our aim is to inspire our customers to lead a life that is conscious and sustainable, making this world a better place as well as to empower communities and uplift talented crafts people we work with.
